Jeremy Swan Joins J.H. Cohn as a Principal in Cohn Consulting Group

Jeremy Swan has joined J.H. Cohn LLP, one of the leading accounting and consulting firms in the United States, as a principal in Cohn Consulting Group, a division of J.H. Cohn. Jeremy will be instrumental in expanding the Firm’s delivery of consulting services and transaction due diligence capabilities through the Private Equity/Venture Capital Industry Practice.
Attuned to the issues and needs of investment groups and their portfolio companies, Jeremy, who is based in the Firm’s New York City office, will focus on helping clients maximize value and minimize risk through the delivery of value-added services, including transaction due diligence (financial, IT, and operational), transaction readiness (IPO and trade sale), lean solutions, business intelligence, internal audit, and SOX consulting.
Jeremy comes to J.H. Cohn from a global consulting firm, where he served as a business leader for the firm’s Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions Due Diligence practices. Prior to this position, he spent more than ten years as a senior investment banker providing mergers and acquisitions and financing services to private equity firms, their portfolio companies, and global corporations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hamilton College.
Jeremy’s appointment broadens the capabilities of J.H. Cohn’s consulting team in line with the Firm’s commitment to be the premier service provider to small- and middle-market investment groups and their portfolio companies.
